Form Builder for uPortal: Case Study In Web Components & Microservices
Complimentary Webinar Hosted by the Apereo Foundation
Gilbert, AZ – September 18, 2018— Unicon, Inc., a leading provider of education technology consulting and digital services, today announced a complimentary webinar on uPortal, the only open source enterprise portal built by and for higher education. Hosted by the Apereo Foundation, the webinar will feature Drew Wills, Software Architect at Unicon. Drew will discuss practical examples and techniques for creating uPortal content under a new model. uPortal is moving away from a container for JSR-286 Portlet-based content to a modern platform for Web Components.
This session will specifically focus on one of the latest Web Components in the uPortal Ecosystem: form builder. Form builder is a new module that allows uPortal adopters to configure and display custom web forms in the portal and capture user form submissions.
Join the uPortal community on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, 12:00 p.m. ET, to discover the reasons behind this change and the progress made so far, including tactics and technologies employed. This webinar is the first of four webinars hosted by Apereo during the months of September, October, and December.
